Background
Bonroy was founded and incorporated in 2018 by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Bingjun Si.
Mr Si led an oil major in London for 17 years and is a 30 year veteran of the petroleum refining and trading sector.
In 2020, Mr. Tim Bullock, was appointed as Chairman to the Bonroy Board of Directors and brings a global profile in executive roles across petroleum industry sectors.
Trading commenced in 2020 with LPG and Light Distillates. To complement the trading, Business Development and Origination Teams were incorporated into the Company dynamics.
The European Gas Desk was established soon after and since then, Bonroy has broadened trading activities into other areas of Crude and Refined Oil Products, Freight, US Natural Gas, LNG, Coal, and Carbon Emissions.
Central to our activities has been the support and knowledge provided by our vertically integrated Infrastructure Teams.
Petroleum
With over 20 years experience trading physical cargoes and derivatives, our Head of Petroleum Trading and Supply leads the team focusing on crude oil and refined oil products including gasoline, middle distillates, fuel oil and tanker freight. Our wide industry experience and our globally strong network of refineries, trading houses, producers and end users across the globe enables us to meet Customer needs and adapt in line with changing market conditions.
Petrochemicals
We aim to serve petrochemical plants and supply them with feedstocks such as LPG and naphtha so they can operate to make a diverse range of industrial and consumer products. The Team is led by the Head of Trading with 25 years of extensive experience and deep product knowledge enabling Bonroy to create marketing, sourcing and risk management solutions for our partners and customers.
Gas/Emissions
Our Team covers European and US natural gas, carbon emissions, coal and LNG. With the world moving towards a carbon neutral environment our wealth of knowledge puts us at the forefront of the commodities affecting climate change and power generation. We offer pricing and hedging solutions across the range of indices for our global LNG clients under the leadership of the Team Head who has over 24 years of experience.
